Movement has always been a part of me. I grew up in the Netherlands doing ballet, inline skating, and started judo at age 8, eventually earning my black belt and competing internationally.
For optimal performance in my judo competitions, I started strength and conditioning training at age 12. On this competitive level you learn what resilience & perseverance means. Wins and losses are a learning process.
After more than a decade of judo, I dove into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, MMA, and even trained competitive Muay Thai in Thailand. Alongside that, I developed a love for CrossFit, and lately Hyrox. All of these disciplines have given me a very powerful mindset,
Competing in Judo and MMA also means navigating strict weight classes, so I learned early on how food affects the body, not just physically, but mentally. Today, I help clients build a healthier, more intuitive relationship with food, grounded in real-life experience, not rules or restriction.
